Abandoned Amusement Parks

A very talented Soundcloud friend read my last blog about America’s County Fairs … with the video attached to it. She commented and used the term “abandoned amusement park.” It hit me, suddenly, how  easy it is to abandon our own life’s amusement parks. This is really one of the greatest challenges, I have found, in growing older – to keep enjoying, laughing, celebrating, being lighthearted. However, it is not  just limited to older people. I see many young people abandoning their own “amusement parks” as they get overly focused on what is wrong in their lives.

Life is indeed a real roller coaster ride. Maybe I should learn to just raise my arms in the air and enjoy the ride.
