I thought what should I do with this unexpected time off? Write a book ? Nah. Paint a masterpiece? Nah.
I decided I would take my smartest chicken and teach her how to play Scrabble. It wasn’t easy, believe me. A lot of arguments about “cluck” being a word, etc. I got it done though!

She did not want to be caught and carried and we all thought we’d have just one second to take a photo before she flew off. But, when we let her go, she looked down at the Scrabble Board as if to say, “Why didn’t you tell me we were playing Scrabble?” and just stayed there.
