I hope that today we feel loved in abundance. I hope we let go of our feelings of scarcity. I hope we make room for the opinions of others, especially those that differ from our own. I hope our eyes see something quite small that leads our hearts to something much larger and mysterious. I hope our fears of others are replaced with a love for others. I hope we are healed physically and emotionally so we can feel alive and bring a sense of joy to every encounter in our day. I hope for gratitude and a sense of awe.
In other words, I hope for the best.
Nice words Gary. I must admit that for the first time in my life I have been getting a little bit wound up by the social posts of others with different views to myself and have even posted the odd reply, which really is not me. If I get the impulse, I am going to read this post and then go and play some guitar:)

I first started writing a long post about those social media postings that you refer to, especially the ones that seem to go far beyond just stating a point of view, but it got so tangled up between logic and my own emotions I just deleted it after an hour of writing. Then I thought, what am I really trying to say? Appreciate you so much David!

Thanks buddy. I also think that perhaps (without want to downplay the opinions of others or assume that I know better) that sometimes you got to think there is more behind why someone might post something than you can actually see and by responding negatively you may be only fuelling that. Showing love and friendship is the answer! After reading this you can see why I don’t blog!
