Come on in.
Let me show you a few things.
Picked these cherries in just a few minutes off the tree in the back. I planted 7 more cherry trees this past winter. I like cherries.

Over there is the first apricot from the several apricot trees I planted 2 years ago. Next year I should have a lot apricots. I like apricots.

Let’s go outside.
Lavender is doing well in some boxes I built last summer.

Lots of bees.

Just harvested some red onions. My father used to tell me that during the Great Depression, all they often had to eat was onion sandwiches. June 6th is Dad’s birthday. I am going to eat an onion sandwich on that day, for him, my grandparents, my aunts and everyone else who went through the depression. I am going to close my eyes, chew slowly and be mindful and grateful for all that we have.

This portion of the garden is doing well. Peppers, Walla Walla onions, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, squash all in raised beds. Going to grow the cucumbers up over that archway/trellis/thingamajig, I also just planted flowers in the bed that I just harvested the onions from.

No sprays. Fruit can be picked and eaten fresh off the trees. Lady bugs helping out on the the zucchini plants.

It is getting hot. The weather app said it was 111 degrees F yesterday. My place said 109. Have to do all the outside chores early, 6:30 am, until 11 am and then wait until 7 pm to work outside again.
Let’s go get a grape popsicle out of the freezer and sit down and “shoot the breeze.” (An American idiom) Glad you dropped by.
Nice to drop in Gary – Cherry pie is one of the very best pies in the world, with custard obvs, but appreciate its very British, I could compromise with some cream or ice cream.

Wow! These are all fantastic! Congratulations on having such a variety of wonderful fruit, vegetables and flowers growing on your property. Looks like a lot of work, but hopefully work that brings lots of joy and satisfaction.

Beautiful Gary! Thank you for sharing snippets of your world with us. Not too sure about the onion sandwich though. 🙂
