Linus then jumped up and tried to eat the pieces! So grateful for this rain. We need a lot more but this is a wonderful start.

Rain at last! Hope it’s just enough, and not too much.
My son tells me parts are expected to get 7″ which is a bit much…too many washouts. I saw the shot of the landslide on Rt.70 near Plumas. Those rocks are huge!

Oh yes, those rocks are indeed huge! Grass Valley was forecasted to get 10” of rain today. You couldn’t pay me enough to drive the Hwy 70 canyon tonight, very steep along the Feather River and burned out. But, so thankful for this rain!
