Today, a panoramic photo from just about the same location.

It’s amazing what some time and attention can do. It’s lovely Gary!

Thank you. I think you would like sitting under the gazebo and writing and drinking your coffee!

Bridget is the visionary. If I was in charge everything would be in rows and it would be quite corporate looking and sterile. But, I have tried to recapture some of that feeling we had in Paradise when looking out from our bedroom window or the balcony off the living room. The dogs and the cats seem to like it and the birds really seem to enjoy all the trees we’ve planted and the different water sources. Very thankful for your support every step of the way, I think ever since I blogged about our visit to Sedona – several years ago!

Well, between the two of you, your vision has been made a reality. I used to garden in rows and perfect placement, I am not fond of that anymore, so I’ve taken a cue from the area I live in and planted creatively, which I find is more in tune with nature. It has been several years, cannot believe that!

So lovely to see how much creativity, beauty and love has come out of what was a truly horrendous experience for you all when you lost your home. So great to see how far you have come.

It has been a journey of ups and downs and sharp turns with unexpected gifts and obstacles, I guess like travelling through your Hill Country. Through it all, I have once again returned to believing in miracles or at least God’s willingness to create miracles. I always thought that when I retired it would be nice to have a part-time job working in a park somewhere, doing landscaping work. Now, with my wife’s vision, that park is starting to take place right out my back door! Thank you for all your support!
