The apples are ripening.

The Butterflies are enjoying the Butterfly Bush next to the apples.

Paradise Lake was calm and quite beautiful this afternoon.

Read somewhere, perhaps from Meister Eckhart, the 13th century mystic, that each creature is a word of God or basically that God is revealed through creation. I think so. This was of course said before the Age of Reason – The Enlightenment.
Meister Eckhart also said, or so they say he said, “If the only prayer you said was thank you, that would be enough.”
Thank you.
The late Wayne Dyer used to say that the first thing we could say when we wake up is Thank You, it’s a great way to end or start a day.
The apples look terrific, what type are you growing? And I love the butterflies, they are such magical creatures.
What a great way to characterize God through each creature on the planet, I never thought of God in that way, it paints a beautiful picture in my mind.
It’s good to see Paradise lake full and placid, very peaceful. It sounds like you’re serene and fully connected to nature.

I liked what Wayne Dyer had to say. There are 6 varieties of apples grafted onto that root stock. Each limb is a different variety. I think that was the Gravenstein branch, I need to double check that though. …. Yes, Butterflies, dragonflies, and hummingbirds, three of my favorite things with wings! …. I really connect with that Franciscan perspective along with believing that no religion, individually or collectively, can fully define or describe the Sacred Mystery. It is one story, one baboon, one flower, at a time…oh, I wish I was as serene as I sometimes appear, but I am afraid the exact opposite is true, still it is comforting to think all I really need to do is say, Thank You. Hope you have a wonderful week!

Wow you’re quite the gardener, I’ve never heard of the gravenstein type of apple, limited by what I can buy and what my sister grows. Well I wish you serenity and a way to see the best in yourself. I agree, nothing and no one can define the Sacred Mystery. Wishing you a wonderful week. Namaste 🙂
