Fooling around with some online software and putting some video clips to my song “Thank You” where I mispronounce the phrase Thank You in many different languages – but what the heck, who cares? Just having some fun with it.

Spasibo! You know Laura, I rarely remember writing my songs, the whole process is quite mysterious to me. I think it was initiated after viewing some very sad video, and maybe seeing some images of different people around the world stepping up to help during a crisis or disaster. Perhaps that is what made me think about saying thank you in different languages, The Muse is not easily understood sometimes, hey?

I understand, the creative process is puzzling to me too. When I am writing a post words come from somewhere unknown and months later when I read it, I am quite surprised by what I wrote as if someone else had done it. When an idea arises it is usually from a situation I’ve become aware of through someone else. The Muse is not easily understood.
I agree saying thank you can bring about a variety of feelings and thoughts. Isn’t it amazing how those two simple words can lead to such complex ideas.

Thank you, Mahalo, Oh Yeah! (HOT here this week. Drove up to Lassen to eat picnic lunch besides Manzanita Lake. Hey, are you a butterfly expert?)
