I like candy. I love saltwater taffy .
It is said that saltwater taffy was born when ocean waters flooded a store selling taffy. That my friends is a Wonderful Accident in my way of thinking!

I wonder how many other Wonderful Accidents are out there? Not counting unexpected pregnancies of course. That number would be beyond huge.

A couple of favorites of.mine cheese and coffee were happy accidents. Cheese originated in the Arabian desert when a merchant was carrying milk in a sheep’s stomach pouch and it curdled and the merchant loved it
A herd of goats were eating the leaves and pods from a plant near field they were grazing, the goats became energetic, the shepherd was delighted with the goats energy and put wonderful beverage coffee was invented. 😊

Salt water taffy is a big seller in the NE coastal areas. I never cottoned to it, myself, but give me a caramel any day!
