The former president of the university where I worked would be asked to speak quite often and rarely prepared his comments in advance. He LOVED alliteration in groups of three. However, often he struggled with the third word and sometimes used a word that simply did not fit the context of his sentence. “ Today, we celebrate our accomplishments in preparing, producing and …. pacifying our future leaders of society.” And often something like that!
