A couple of years ago, we planted a little Chandler English Walnut tree. Being a bit obsessive, I have been keeping track of the crop each year. The first year, we got 2 nuts. Last year, we got 22 nuts, and this year… 64 nuts. Next year I will provide a graph with this report.
And, yes the candlemakers are getting quite fancy!

Oh yes, one more thing. Benny wants Santa to know that he has mostly been a good boy this year.

Great news, your nut production is increasing, wonder what the next harvest bring?
The candles are beautiful…I’ll bet they burn for a long time.
Benny is quite adorable, even if he’s been mostly good, Santa lives animals and I’m sure Benny will get a yummy present this year.
Happy Autumn 🥮

I wonder too. I’m thinking 96 nuts next year! Yes, the candles are really pretty. Using a hemp based wick now for a better burn….that Benny can be a real punk and real sweetheart in nearly the same moment. Love our Benny and Gracie and Linus and Lucy – although we do have our disagreements, like when the cats decide everyone has had enough sleep at 3 am.

Walnuts are my favourite nut, always reminds me of Christmas, and the joy of breaking them open with the nutcracker.

I need to get cracking’! If I do it early enough, I can get a lot of whole halves for candy making.

Talk about exponential growth! That is wonderful, Gary.
The candle is very pretty, is that a sheath of bay laurel above it?
Benny has such soulful eyes, how can you deny him anything? 😀

I hope Benny gets exactly what his little doggy heart desires.
