A few photos of some of the backyard today.
It is constantly changing.
I mentioned to Bridget today that I’ve never felt lonely when gardening. I feel so connected around plants, flowers and trees.
The very last photo is one of the prep being done to pour a slab of concrete to expand the shop by 1300 square feet.
Not a photographer, just point and shoot!

I love seeing all the garden work you have done there, you are impressively industrious, Gary. Well done! Tell Bridget I admire her succulent wreath… very pretty.
1300 sf is a lotta space! What will you use it for?

That wreath was kind of hard to plant in the beginning but I sure like it now…. The new shop area is connected to another 1300 square feet shop. Amazing how it can get filled though. Still want to build things. Hoping to complete a 120 square foot greenhouse by this fall ( 120 and below don’t require a building permit)

Id say the ‘point and shoot’ method works pretty well Gary. Great photos!!

I always love seeing your beautiful garden work, your love of nature shows in the colors, textures and how healthy and thriving the plants are. It’s like a breath of fresh air to see such love and connection to the nature that surrounds you. What a great shop area, more space to be creative. I see a greenhouse is a planned project, I am looking forward to seeing that!

You know Laura, out here we are considered to be nice people but weird people. Most think we’re crazy for planting trees and flowers instead of raising sheep and cattle to be “processed” or even roosters for cockfighting ( a not so hidden secret out here.) I, we, do love nature and call it God, or any other inadequate word, their is a feeling of eternal connectivity…. Would love to grow tomatoes in the winter in a greenhouse!
