Generally speaking, this area values treeless pastures or scenic blocking orchards over trees of fall colors. But, being of a different mindset and missing our autumns in Paradise, I’ve planted over 100 trees here just for their fall colors and summer shade and I might just plant 100 more to drive the locals even more mad. The back is really starting to look good with all the trees!
We’ve had a perfect autumn. Loving the cooler weather. Still no frost, so zinnias etc have reseeded and blossoming again. I too love the motion of a swing!

Sweet spots to sit a spell. I’ve always loved swings and in a shady bower, all the better. Bet you’re enjoying the cooler temps!
