A Snapshot of Summer

Here are a few photos of our lives this summer.

I asked my friend Luis to help harvest some pumpkins
He also picked some of our watermelons for me. (I have a theory that humankind went in the wrong direction after the introduction of seedless watermelons and fast food drive-throughs.)
About 200 of these young ones dropped in for a visit the other day.
When they all flew over the top of me, it had the feel of a. Hitchcock movie.
This morning we picked a bunch of gourds, pomegranates, and a honeydew.
Awesomeness
Every morning we walk around and harvest something. Benny wanted to do a little dog modeling for his portfolio.
My son-in-law took a friend of mine fishing on the Sacramento River last week. I fish for a little bit, take photos and just enjoy the peace on the river.
Arturo caught a 25 pound salmon. He was very excited.
Drying lots of flowers
Lots of dried flowers. The barn is full of them.
Grew some really tasty and quite large Bidwell Casabas. Used a large apple for comparison.
Our vision for turning the old sheep pasture into a park like setting continues to develop.
Finally, I recently made this mug. Somebody, and there is only two of us in this house, put their fresh cut dahlias in it.

There we go some more Another Picture On The Wall.
